xxix, 113p., first edition mulberry cloth boards titled copperfoil in dust jacket; entirely clean and sound, faintest signs of any age or handling, a near-fine copy. Autobiographical sketches by the African American cartoonist. Harrington was one of the outstanding illustrators on the American left. His cartoons appeared for many years in DAILY WORKER and in numerous Black papers before he became a central figure in Paris' expatriate community (Chester Himes describes Harrington's exploits in great detail in THE QUALITY OF HURT).
