Illustrations are by Blanche Fisher Wright, but initials A.U.J. appear on each illustrated page. Cardboard covers, 5" x 6 5/8", 32 stapled pages. Fair-good condition. Cover soiled & middle page unstapled.

Soft cover. Etat : Good. Softcover, 6 1/2 by 5 inches, 32 pages. Handsome color lithographed cover has aonly very slight wear to front and a soft verticle crease to rear. Title page gas signature of previous owner, "walter Moore" and stamp Young Folks Library, possibly applied by publisher, no other indication of instutional ownership. Pages clean. Front cover states author as being Hayne, title pages states author as being Purkis. No date of publication, my guess, 1920.
