A unique copy, apparently bound by/for Baskin, for a noted collector and friend J. Poindexter. Letter suggests an exchange that this volume appears to manifest.also representing the first contact of a relationship that spanned years. Interesting connection bridging artist, collector, and institution. Minor shelf/edge wear, else tight, bright, and unmarred. Full black leather binding with LB in blind at front and spine, black ribbon bound in, marbled endpapers, one plate printed from the block, "Hendrick Goltzius" [found here signed] (Fern 433). 8vo. 106pp. Illus.
