Soft Cover. Etat : Good. First Edition. 1st edition in soft cover format, 4to, unpaginated, photo reproductions; this was the first monography on the man who came to be known as the father of modern Egyptian Modern Art and most scarce; text entirely in French; card covers a little frayed at spine extrems; cream over-cover was probably not a good idea and both upper and lower panels have picked up coffee splashes, North African dust and various other inexplicable marks; by and large though for 70+ years not a bad survivor of a very tricky item, G/VG Copy Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
