Ex-library with stamps on two pages. Owner bookplate and gift inscription on front pastedown with stamp on title page, foxing throughout with a large chip at bottom corner of rear fly, two leaves loose and laid in, spine and label worn (affecting text), boards edgeworn and splitting at the crown, about good only. Niles's periodical, extremely popular in its day, is now an important reference source for historical politics.
