4th edition. 274pp, (5 x 7.5 inches), b&w photos, itinerary. Only Fair condition, hardcover, no dust jacket. Tan boards with cover illustration in blue, black and white. Boards are lightly worn and soiled, though illustration onfront is cright and clear. Front hinge (inside) a little wobbly, light water stain to edge of pages, some lfaint rippling. No other markings, no tears or creases. Just a reading copy, but still tight and clean. An account of his travels, based on a journal he kept.

Higinbotham (1864-1961) was, according to Peel's Bibliography of the Prairie Provinces, a pioneer druggist who began business in MacLeod, Alberta, in 1884. He moved to Lethbridge the following year and was that city's postmaster from 1886 to 1910. This is a reprint edition of this book (which was first published in 1933) and recounts the author's experiences in the MacLeod-Lethbridge district. It contains a new Preface to the Second Edition and an 'Introduction to the re-production' by Norman Lindsay Higinbotham.
