Unusually in this copy there is NO FADING TO THE SPINE, which usually turns grey with exposure to light! Black cloth over boards, with stunning, bright, red and silver flame-like decorations to the front and rear covers and bright silver decoration to the spine. Top page edge is pale blue/grey with some very slight fading to the top edge near the spine, as usual as that is where the light gets in from the way the book is housed in the slipcase.
