Leather. Etat : Very Good. Blindstamped leather cover with raised bands dividing six panels on spine, the bands with gilt lines; a black leather label with gilt lettering tipped on the second panel; the edges of the boards with decorative gilt pattern. Volume I, 560 pages; Volume II, 634 pages; minor spots, rubbing, to cover; a small tear started in leather at bottom of rear hinge; neat ink owner's name and date (1850) on free end paper; a very few pages with very faint, scant, pencil marks; slight toning to the margins of some pages; otherwise unmarked, clean, sound, attractive copy. Latin and Hebrew with English Book names and chapter numbers on top of pages. ; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall.

Etat : Used - Good. 2nd Edition. Stamped/gilt le. Hebrew language. (2 vol set) Both vols: hinges broken, covers starting, significant edge-wear, corners worn through, spine is missing some veneer, foxing of text block as per usual. Internals are otherwise quite sound; good binding. Sound reading copy.
