Gilt to all page edges. Strain on hinge. Mild page crinkling throughout. Some foxing, blemishing & light browning. The coloured steel engraving beside p.12, whilst present and in place, is detached. Impressive decorated inscription of previous owner on fep dated "Christmas, 1874". Content Good. Overall a Fair copy.
