Edition originale
First edition, 50 copies. The final iteration of Hill's Detroit amateur periodical first issued in 1888. E.A. Edkins, the journal's original editor, andWeird Tales author, Fanny Kemble Johnson, both contribute several pieces. Hill adds an essay at the end titled "In Retrospect," which briefly touches on the history of The Stylus, states the limitation, and dubs this a commemorative issue. The two copies here vary slightly in format, most notably on the printed front cover. Both vary from the Myers Myers description which states "The wrapper is of yellow stock of a heavy weave." In any event, these are quite uncommon in commerce and OCLC locates perhaps 6 holdings. Myers Myers 3. Two variant copies, each 26x17cm, [2], 12, [1]pp. Folded sheets in printed wrappers, near fine.
