Minimal shelf handling wear with a hint of sun-lightening on the top edge. The dust jacket has the price of $5.95 and the white of the rear panel has toned with rubs on the top of the spine and corners. Friederike Victoria "Joy" Adamson was a naturalist, artist and author. Her book, Born Free, describes her experiences raising a lion cub named Elsa. Born Free was printed in several languages, and made into an Academy Award-winning movie of the same name. In 1977, she was awarded the Austrian Cross of Honour for Science and Art. Living Free continues the story. Near Fine in a Very Good Dust Jacket.
