Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. Etat de la jaquette : Poor. 1st Edition. This 1960 account of Florida and how it came to be, by Miami Herald columnist Jack Kofoed (1894-1979), is inscribed in blue ink to the half-title page to publicist Eugene Murphy. Front flap retains original $3.95 price. Unfortunately, while interior text block is otherwise unmarked, "very good" and easily read, the Murphy descendants into whose hands it fell at some point allowed the bottom half of the dust jacket to become damp, at which point it adhered itself to the book. We offer it "as found." 336 pp. including Index. Inscribed by Author(s).
