Hardcover. Etat : Fine. Leonard Richmond (illustrateur). 1st Edition. This copy is in fine unmarked condition quarter bound in light blue cloth to grey paper covered boards with blue titling to the spine and the upper board where there is also a small colour illustration by the artist let in. This copy is bright, tight, white and square. A dust wrapper is not called for. International postal rates are calculated on a book weighing 1 Kilo, in cases where the book weighs more than 1 Kilo increased postal rates will be quoted, where the book weighs less then postage will be reduced accordingly. Illustrated with fifteen tipped in colour paintings by the artist Leonard Richmond. This attractive book was designed to whet the appetite of the would-be traveller to Europe, using the Southern Railway via Southampton port. Leonard Richmond (1889-1965) was a Somerset born British watercolour landscape artist who spent a large part of his career in Canada and was noted for his railway posters. Ref CCC 5.
