First edition. Hardcover. An illustrated look at the works of the long time wife of photographer Irving Penn. Introduction by Alexander Liberman who also wrote one for Penn's "Moments Preserved." Includes a section of images of Fonssagrives-Penn along with photographs by Penn of her works. A fine copy in a fine dust jacket. Laid in is a hand written envelope and card to a prominent gallerist presenting the book and is initialed by Irving Penn. A very uncommon book with a nice association.

From the library of Irving Penn's agent Peter Schub. This book was produced by Nicholas Calloway (who edited the Issey Miyake book with photos by Irving Penn) with an introduction by Alexander Liberman. Lisa was the wife of Irving Penn, she was a dancer, model, a metal artist and much more. 94 pages. A fine copy in cloth with dust jacket and slipcase (near fine).
