Publisher's logo on title. Decorative initials. Illustrated with 19 striking chromolithographic plates (including 3 double-page) from designs by Thomas Crane, this work is an authoritative treatise on the practice of decorative needlework. Some rubbing and fraying along lower edge of binding. Head of spine, and lower front corner bumped, thus slightly affecting very first leaves throughout. Upper front corner of half-title neatly cut-out (not affecting lettering). Paper margin slightly age-toned. Binding in overall good-, interior in good to very good, plates in very good condition.
