This book was published by Ernest Nister in London, and printed in Bavaria. Bound in publisher's original quarter cloth, with paper covered boards. Externally, the cloth spine has been painted red, though the original brown cloth can be seen internally. Externally, smart with some shelf wear and bumping to head and tail of spine. A few small chips on the front and back boards. Internally, both front and back hinges are weak, and binding is slightly tender. Internally, pages contain the odd stain and a small crayon marking, though the text and illustrations are not obscured in any way. Good. book.
