Softcover. Etat : Good. Unknown edition. Folio. 6pp. Printed wrappers. Signature on the front wrapper, soiling and staining throughout, creasing, edgewear, and three old tape repairs, one half-way along the center of the front wrapper, another along the entire center of the rear wrapper, and another the length of the spine that is beginning to come lose towards the top, a good only copy. We believe the signature to be in the hand of the composer. The front wrapper features a typo spelling Harriet with two Ts, but correctly spelling it at the top of the score. Issued as Nos. 1174 & 1175, Musical Bouquet. *OCLC* locates only a single holding of this edition, as well as two holdings of an edition with music by John Blockley, supposedly also published in London the same year. The words are taken from the second volume of Stowe's novel, *Dred; A Tale of the Great Dismal Swamp.*.
