Light tanning to pages with mild staining to pastedowns and free endpapers. Tanning heavier to text block edges. Minor creasing to gutters. Binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear. Spine has light tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean. Helena Concannon (1878-1952), an historian and politician, wrote several works that focused on Irish women, most famously "Daughters of Banba" and "Women of 'Ninety Eight." This is a Fine copy of the First Edition, a scarce title. Green cloth binding, ruled, with gilt titling on the spine. Clean text; 280 pages, indexed. Very fresh and bright. Previous-owner signature (1938) on the FFEP. The dustjacket is Good only, with several large chips; the front flap has separated but is present, held in place by the archival plastic protector. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fine/Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
