Cloth. Etat : Very Good. Oswald Moser (illustrateur). First Illustrated Edition, 464 pp., with 8 full page illustrations in colour by Oswald Moser and an introduction by Gordon Home. Dinah Maria Murlock (1826 - 1887), though she did not limit her writings to children's themes, she achieved her greatest successes with the stories of children. THE LAME LITTLE PRINCE represents her greatest success, perhaps more closely followed by THE ADVENTURES OF BROWNIE full of childish fun and delightful fantasy.

Livre Edition originale
Hardcover. Etat : Fine. Moser, Oswald (illustrateur). 1st Edition. Lovely clean copy of this scarce limited/deluxe type edition. Folio sized with ornate decorative front board and spine. Gilt title lettering front and spine. Corners a little bumped but otherwise Fine++ copy. This copy came from a collection which was acquired from the descendants of AWF Fuller (brother of JFC.) and appears to be to his daughter, Iris. The inscription in pencil on the ffep reads: "With every loving wish for Christmas 1950 & the New Year, to Iris from Daddy" AWF Fuller made light penil notes in many of the collection and he also helpfully tells us with a note at the top edge of the ffep that the book is a Limited edition. On the title page he states, again in pencil, 1st edit and 1912. There is some browning to the end papers but on the whole this is a fabulous copy and with great provenance.
