    [Latinx] NACLA's Latin America and Empire Report Archive of 10 Issues. New York: North American Congress on Latin America, 1974. Ten issues of the magazine, a complete run for the year 1974. The NACLA Newsletter, which became the Latin America & Empire Report in the early 1970's, was the primary source for Left-wing reportage on events and institutions affecting the people of Latin America, occasionally expanding coverage to the Mid-East, Southeast Asia and, of course, the Empire. Articles include "Golden Ghetto: the American Colony in Mexico," "Police Terrorism in Latin America," Major US arms transfers to foreign countries 1971-73, "Bolivia: the war goes on," Guillermo Lora, "Guatamala: breaking free," USARSA catalog, "Dominican Republic Military Democracy," Falconbridge, Feminism Balaguerista, "U.S. Counter-Revolutionary Apparatus: The Chilean Offensive," "Panama," "Chile: the US propping up the Junta," "Argentina: AIFLD losing its grip"., and more. All volumes bear previous owner's name penned on front wrap, Nos. 2 and 4-10 with address labels on rear wraps, some wear, soiling, and uneven toning, otherwise in very good condition. f.
