Nathanial Currier (illustrateur). 1st Edition. a rare 1st small folio steel lithograph by Currier, before he joined with Ives to form Currier & Ives of the Grand reception of Louis Kossuth, the liberator of Hungary to City Hall in New York, hand watercolored lithograph, in the original birds eye maple frame and wood back. Note there is marginal worming as well as an old damping to the areas, but a rare view of General Kossuth, the eloquent fighter for freedom. and beloved of America, he lived from 1802 until 1894.
