Hardcover. Etat : Good. 1st Edition. A good hardback first edition without a dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt title lettering to upper cover and spine. There is a small circular blemish near the tail of the spine, and the outer corners are lightly creased and rubbed. There is also a bit of foxing to the opening and closing leaves. At the top of the half title page the following has been written in fountain pen: 'Eley Brothers Ltd 1915'. There are also a couple of small institutional reference library stamps (different institutions) at the beginning of the volume-one on the front free endpaper, the other on the half title page.
