Soft cover. Etat : Near Fine. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Charming softcover book about the village and villagers of Mount on Bodmin Moor. Mount is in the Parish of Warleggan. The book contains vignettes of some villagers with historical photos and portraits of them painted by Annie Ovenden. Ovenden is one of the Brotherhood of Ruralists art group that included her late husband Graham, David Inshaw, Sir Peter Blake, Graham Arnold et al. The Ovendens lived in" Barley Splatt" a restored manor House rebuilt in an Art Deco style by the Ovendens themselves. Very scarce, I cannot find another copy on the net.
