Typed Letter Signed (on paper printed with the address 'The Palace, Norwich' and dated 20th Nov., 1941) from the Bishop of Norwich (Bertram Pollock) to one Mr. Scott-Moncrieff, in which the Bishop refers to 'my little article-sermonette in the Sunday Times' and the importance of 'Work coming before Word', and mentions the house purchased from Scott-Moncrieff as being 'too near the coast'. One leaf, typed full to recto; closing greeting/signature in black ink. Leaf has one vertical/one horizontal fold; paper slightly tanned, with small tears/chips to edges, but type/signature quite fresh/clear.
