Hardcover. Etat : Good. Hardcover. Blue cloth over boards. "Lift" written on the spine in white paint, with a square of white paint further down the spine. Measures 10.5 x 8 inches. Multiple sections bound together in library binding; each section individually paginated. Sections are numbered as follows: 266, 644, and 672 -- published, respectively, in 1927 and 1938. The first section is titled "Airfoil Lift With Changing Angle of Attack". 15 pages, plus figures and tables. The next is titled "Flight and Wind-Tunnel Tests of an XBM-1 Dive Bomber". 18 pages, followed by 31 figures and tables. Section 3 is titled "Flow Observations with Tufts and Lampblack of the Stalling of Four Typical Airfoil Sections in the N.A.C.A. Variable-Density Tunnel". 10 pages plus figures and tables. The entire volume, with original orange paper covers, has a hardcover library binding. Gutters at front and back repaired with white cloth. Two library stamps and some writing in pen on the front free endpaper. Pages within are clean and free of foreign markings. Light rubbing to covers.
