For what is essentially an ephemeral publication, this is in reasonable condition. ; Barnes was awell-known Presbyterian minister. This sermon was preached in Worcester, Massachusetts. The marbled boards are badly rubbed, while the leather and decorative spine, as well as the marbled end papers and paste downs remain in excellent condition. The body of the book suffers from intermittent minor foxing, else clean, unmarked and solid. Includes a fold out maps of Palestine at the beginning of the Gospel of Matthew and Mark, and one of Jerusalem accompanying Luke and John.
