Black and white illustrations and colour illustration plates. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Binding remains firm. Some page corners folded. Boards have moderate wear with bumped and abraded corners. Spine ends similarly worn and spine itself slightly scuffed. Gilt mildly dulled. Board surfaces tanned and rubbed.

Dark indigo-blue hardback bindingwith titles in gilt-colour and yellow flowers to front and spine (faded to latter). B&W illustrations. Inner hinges both split so binding weakened. Heavy wear to spine-ends and boards' corners. Browning to page-edges o/w pages clean. Some pages are discoloured with light brown as previous owners have pressed some flowers in book. Working and very usable copy.
