Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and tanning.

In the original cloth binding which is darkened and soiled. The rear board and spine are unevenly faded. Ink ownership inscription to the front free end paper dated 1926. Creasing to some pages, mainly the pages on which are pasted the photographs, but also to text pages. Title page not dated, but the introduction is dated November 1868. Book.
