Ex libris; from the personal library of noted journalist and publisher James Strohn Copley, his bookplate on the front pastedown. Burgundy cloth boards with gilt lettering on the spine. The binding is tight, a bit of edge wear and rubbing and the corners are rubbed, the gilt on the spine has faded. Text and images are clean and unmarked. A trace of rubbing on the inside of the rear gutter. Intended as a general history of the region with the textbook market in mind, only 501 copies of the 1934 printing were made.
