Some scuffing to board covers as well. Pages have a few foxing spots, less so on interior pages. Some wear to front hinges, but still solid. 590 with footnotes. Includes fragments from approx. 18 ancient authors (incl. Hecati, Charonis, Xanthi, Hellanici, Pherecydis, Acusilai, Antiochi, Philisti, Timi, Ephori, Theopompi, Phylarchi, etc.) as well as a discussion of the Rosetta stone and 1 fold out plates illustration of the Greek text. 2 other fold out illustrations of the Greek text of the Parian Marble (also called the Parian Chronicle). The First part has since been lost, but a third part was discovered in 1897, after this publication.
