Wrappers. Etat : Very Good+. No Jacket. Susanne Suba (illustrateur). 1st Edition. A Concora Slottie Book, with slottie intact. Wrappers are clean and almost unworn, with just a tiny scratch and bumped rear corner. Binding is tight throughout. Pages are clean and bright except that the last has foxing/offsetting from the slottie. Bottom corner have mild, almost creases where pages were turned. Hardcover. Etat : Near fine. Etat de la jaquette : very good. First Edition. Quarto, [28]pp., illustrated. A crisp, clean copy, near fine, with some offsetting to the last leaf, as always, and mild rubbing to the board edges. Else very nice. In a very good dust jacket with a long closed tear on the front panel and some shallow wear to the spine ends. The "slottie," a sheet of cardboard pieces after illustrations from the book, is present, laid in at rear. This one is entirely unused. Uncommon thus. Please note that some of the illustrations in the story, which depict children in rural Africa, are racially insensitive by modern standards.
