The books are quarter bound with decorative paper boards and a beige cloth spine. All the books are at least very good condition, the only fault being offsetting to the end papers. The jackets are at least good most being in very good condition. There is some browning to the spines, some chipping to the spine tips on a few, one of the spines has a small hole in the centre and one volume has a 4" by 1" piece missing from the top edge of the front panel.
