Pages are mildly tanned with visible foxing. Mild cracking to gutters, however binding remains firm. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and notable marking to boards. Heavy tanning to spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Moderate water stains to front board. Mild bubbling to rear board. Moderate warping to boards.

No Date but probably a First (1933) SIGNED by the AUTHOR - Lord Craigmyle, - who was one of Great Britain's most noted lawyers and jurists, who died in Glasgow in 1937 at the age of 87. As Lord of Appeal in Ordinary, he held the title of Lord Shaw of Dunfermline in the life peerage until he resigned from the bench in 1929. He then became a member of the house of Lords and took his new title. Blue boards, spine slightly sunned, bright gilt titling to spine, corners and head/tail of spine very slightly bumped. Few biro spots and the boards are very slightly spotted. Offsetting. Neat presentation inscription from the author on the front endpaper dated '33. Foreword by Ex President William Howard Taft. 178pp. Main body of book is CLEAN TIGHT AND BRIGHT.; 105343; 8vo.
