Condition: good to fair with some separation at the inner hinges, but typical of this book. Cover has some wear but lettering nice overall 8vo, orig. brown cloth-covered bds, teg, bright gold titles on spine and fb, very slightest fade to spine barely evident, slight bumping to bottom spine end and light rubbing to bottom edges, else clean, bright, tight and unworn; several tiny tan spots to margins of pages 208 & 209, else internally clean and unmarked; SIGNED by author on lg. bookplate on ffep; color frontis and 37 additional. color and sepia plates and photogravures ( CHief Joseph and noteable Native American leaders ) illus; pp.322 incl subscriber list index, Classic and nicely illustrated work on the Indians of the Northwest. Very nice condition and SIGNED by author on end paper book plate. 1st edition, limited to 500 autographed copies. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Signed by Author.
