First edition, bound in the publisher's original bright cloth, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Dated using Jisc, from copies of the work held in the National Library of Scotland. Written by Donald Ryder Stephens under the pseudonym of Donald Sinderby. 'Mother-in-Law India' was Sinderby's final novel, set in the near-future in India during a time of uncertainty. The story presents the British Empire struggling, with the government starting to crack apart due to a promise to give India independence. In the publisher's original bright cloth, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with the occasional mark and light bumping to the extremities. The odd mark to endpapers.
