Sir Ernest Alfred Thompson Wallis Budge (July 27, 1857 November 23, 1934) was an English Egyptologist, Orientalist, and philologist who worked for the British Museum and published numerous works on the ancient Near East. A beautifully produced book, illustrated by the famous structural artist, the outstanding sculptor Jacob Epstein. Seven full page excellent reproduction of the coloured drawings, mounted on stiff cards, each with captioned tissue. His drawings, to this mystical work are extremely impressive. One of them shows a mystical vision; another a childhood portrait. A fine copy. Signed by the Author.
