Fourth edition, with a new preface. 8vo. 32 pp. List of passengers, mostly from South Carolina, on final page (with an ink note concerning one). 95 passengers and crew were lost in the disaster, the sinking of the packet in a violent storm. An appendix (pp. 23-31) prints "Narrative of the Loss of the Steam-Packet Home," by B.B. Hussey, one of the surviving passengers, "approved by the other passengers now in Charleston."
