First edition. Softcover. 60 pages. Exhibition catalog for a show that ran July through August 1969. Features an essay by Ragna Thiis Stang on Edvard Munch an essay by Martin Urban in Emil Nolde. Includes color and black and white illustrations biographical information and checklists of works by both artists. A very good copy in wrappers with a vertical crease throughout and some other light wear.

Issued in conjunction with a 1969 exhibition of artwork by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch (1863-1944) and German-Danish painter Emil Nolde (1867-1956). With essays by Ragna Thiis Stang (for Munch) and Martin Urban (for Nolde). The exhibition checklist cites 81 Munch pieces and 103 Nolde pieces, and about one third are pictured here.
