Large 8vo, later red cloth, illustrated, folding map, 533 pp. Normal aging and toning, a firm tifght copy; very good plus. Another richly illustrated volume of the exploits of Henry M. Stanley (1841-1904). Born in Wales, he moved to the United States when he was 18, and changed his name to Stanley. After finding Livingstone in 1871, Stanley would make a career exploring Africa.
