Hardcover. Etat : Good-VG. Etat de la jaquette : Fine. 1st Edition. Bound in gilt-lettered blue cloth, bright, clean and unworn. f/piece (George Villiers, Duke of Buckingham)+ facs. signed Churchill letter praising the book+31, 16 pp. col. ills of coats of arms after p.16 on alternate full openings, these however numbered with pp. between which the coats of arms are relevant+ further unpag. monochrome plate after p.28 (this pagination format is a little confusing in fact); this would be fine but for heavily tanned inner halves of end-papers offset from jacket wraparounds. Unclipped jacket is virtually pristine and in acetate protective sleeve as acquired (this has 6 cm tear from bottom outer corner). Churchill's one page endorsement adds interest for obsessional Churchill completists. 19 cm x 25.5 cm.
