First US edition, two volume hardcover set, the books have a light lean to their bindings, bumps with a touch of fraying to the cloth at their spine ends, strong fading to their heads, slight vertical ridges to their spines, and uneven toning to their end pages. Additionally, Book One has foxing to the edges of its text block. Overall, this is a solid, Near Very Good set in unclipped, Good+ dust jackets, which have bumps with short chips to their spine ends and corners, wear with small chips and tears to their edges, sunning to their spines, and rubbing with areas of smudging to their covers. The jackets are in Mylar.
