Published by Routledge and Kegan Paul Ltd in 1950, here is the first hardback printing of The Plays and Poems of Thomas Lovell Beddoes edited, with an introduction by H.W.Donner. Blue cloth binding, gilt lettering, 416 pages, illustrations, the book is in good condition with a modicum of spine creasing and some spotting to the end papers and the last few pages and outside page edges. There is the name of a previous owner (the revered Oxford scholar and Hertford College fellow Tony Cockshut) written in pencil to the front free end paper. Tony has also made a few pencil marks in the borders.
