Issued by the publishing arm of the Roycroft community, an early 20th century Arts & Crafts community in New York state. Influenced by William Morris (politically and artistically) and the Kelmscott Press, community founder Elbert Hubbard created the Roycroft Press to publish pamphlets and books (the latter often in suede covers).
