Pages and plates are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier to endpapers. Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Occasional thumb-marking present. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying to cloth. Scuffing and light marking overall. Notable tanning to spine and edges. Black marking and some scuffed red staining to rear board. Mild white marking overall.
