Etat : Good. 1930. No Edition Remarks. 103 pages. Illustrated dust jacket over black cloth boards. Gilt lettering. Textblock in Welsh and English. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Unclipped jacket has light edge-wear with minor tears and chipping. Mild rubbing and marking. Moderate tanning to flaps, panels and spine.

William St John Fremantle Brodrick, 1st Earl of Midleton, 1856?1942, Conservative politician, Secretary of State for War and India in Balfour?s government. Two autograph letters, both to Emma Pender, undated (although the one on War Office stationery would be from 1900-03). One refers to a visit by Mrs Pender to the Commons, and the second is about theatre tickets which she had arranged. A third letter is from Brodrick?s wife, Hilda, again about theatre tickets. Folds and general handling wear. Size is 185mm x 120mm. Condition is good. Light crease to centre. More images can be taken upon request. Ref16695. Signed by Author(s).
