Hardcover. Reprint. 414pp. Octavo. Dark red hardcover with gilt stamped titles on the spine and front cover. Very good. The spine is rolled back. The edges of the spine and covers are very lightly rubbed. There is a former owner's ink stamp on the front pastedown, and there is an old price sticker on the first page. The first page is just beginning to detach at the base. The text block is partially cracked at the Foreword page. The text block is also just barely starting to crack at the end. Overall, the book is very sturdy. One of the illustrations has multiple notations in pen. Subjects include Ashley-Smith Explorations, The Spencer Seedless Apple, Provo General Hospital, Provo Woolen Mills, and much more.

Trade Paperback. Etat : Good - Cash. Etat de la jaquette : Very Good. General rubbing to the edges and corners. DJ has some yellowing from age, and just a little rubbing. The ink from the image book plate got onto the page next to it a little bit leaving a few splotches from when they were doing the images. The binding is very tight. Stock photos may not look exactly like the book. Inscribed By Author.

Paperback. Reprint. SIGNED. 414pp. Octavo [21.5 cm] Yellow and black illustrated wraps. With a dust jacket. Very good. The wraps are faintly creased, and the spine is ever so slightly rolled. There is a small light stain on the bottom edge of the text block. The bottom corners of the pages at the beginning of the text are gently bumped. The dust jacket is in good condition. Mildly rubbed, creased and age-toned. There are numerous losses from the edges of the jacket. The largest loss is from the paper at and near the head of the spine, and measures 3 inches wide by 1 inch at its deepest. There are multiple closed tears along the edges and folds as well. The longest closed tear measures 2 inches long. Inscribed by the publisher, Simon K. Benson, The Scribbler, on the dedication page. From the dust jacket- "Through the republication of this volume combining as it does, two rare histories of early Provo- you now have an opportunity to purchase Early Pictorial Provo by William M. Wilson, an Early History of Provo by J. Marinus Jensen. Both were long out of print, and they will live again in this nostalgic voyage into the past.".
