No Binding. Etat : Collectible-Good. Original sheet music printed on light beige paper. Black lettering with gray, white, and orange illustrations on front panel. Pages laid in loose. 10 1/2" x 13 1/2." Six pages, complete. Sheet music is clean and intact overall but has age toning, a few wrinkles, a few small chips along spine. There is also a split running almost the entire length of the spine. A Good copy. Sheet music for the song, "Till the Clouds Roll by," which was part of the musical comedy, Oh Boy! Book and lyrics by Guy Bolton and P. G. Wodehouse. Music by Jerome Kern. A brief list of other songs in the play is printed on front. The back includes samples of two other songs, "It Wasn't My Fault" (from Love O' Mike) and "And I Am All Alone" (from Have a Heart). Oh Boy! (1917) made its debut in February 1917. For its initial Broadway run that finished in November 1917, there were 463 performances of the play. Oh Boy! was also made into a silent movie in 1919. Lyrics for this song were written by the two noted English authors, Guy Bolton and P. G. Wodehouse.

Furthering the interest of this volume to the true Wodehousian - this bound volume also includes sheet music from 'Very Good Eddie', at the premiere of which Wodehouse first met Bolton, at Kern's introduction. Includes over 20 additional examples of WWI-era sheet music, all or most including their original covers. Bound in period black cloth (general wear; some ink stamps; some marginal tears).
