[As quoted on the printer's page] The book was first published in hardback in the Oxford World's Classics series in 1958. ***Very good in illustrated card covers. The covers are clean and only lightly marked, with no significant creases or bumps - just some light edge wear commensurate with age and handling. The bottom corner of the front cover is lightly creased. Small tear at the bottom of the spine. Very light reading creases to the spine. Internally also very good with no inscriptions, but with a 'Wordsworth's Cottage Grasmere' stamp on the half-title page. No foxing. Pages clean - the paper stock just lightly tanned. She was the sister of the Romantic poet William Wordsworth, and the two were close all their adult lives. Dorothy Wordsworth had no ambitions to be a public author, yet she left behind numerous letters, diary entries, topographical descriptions, poems, and other writings.'
