Schacht was a Cincinnati automobile company which started out producing as simple and as cheap a car as they could, though they started upgrading almost immediately; a Schacht finished fifth in the first Indianapolis 500. In 1914 they gave up on cars and went fulltime into making trucks, lasting until the 1930s. Never mailed or messaged, excellent shape.

No Binding. Etat : Very Good. Before World War I, the Simplex earned a reputation as one of the most powerful, most expensive automobiles around. This one, the text on the back tell us, cost $12,000, the equivalent today of, oh, a quarter of a million. Maybe you can't have one (the interwebs claims only about 500 were made in the whole history of the company) but here is this postcard, unmailed and in excellent shape.

No Binding. Etat : Near Fine. This was a luxury auto manufactured in the nineteen-zeroes in Toledo, Ohio (surprised?) According to the Interwebs, the 1906 model was the first automobile brought to Alaska, and someone drove one along the Yukon to show its endurance. Never mailed, very nice shape.

No Binding. Etat : Near Fine. The 1901 must be a misprint, as the Everitt Metzger Flanders Company apparently made from 1908 to 1911. This model was relabeled as the Studebaker 30 when Studebaker bought out the company. Nice condition, never mailed.

One of the more obscure makes of automobile, the Mier may have been built in Ligonier, Indiana only in 1905, according to the folks at this car museum, or in 1905 and then again in 1907, as some reports have it. In any case, there weren't very many of them. This card was never mailed or messaged, and is in excellent shape.
