A tight, clean, sound copy in red cloth with a black graphic on the front and black lettering and a graphic on the spine with minor overall wear plus a library mark on the spine in black ink plus the book is slightly cocked plus the usual library stamps on the top, bottom, and right outside paper edges, inside surface of the front board, copyright page, and back endpaper plus a patch (about 3.5"x4") on the inside surface of the front board where a pocket was removed plus some light sunning on the spine plus some very light soiling and yellowing of the outside paper edges plus a piece of one of the dust jacket endflaps has been taped down to the front endpaper. After an apocolypse, a new culture is built on science and The Computer is built out in space using informatio from surviving texts. This machine is sentient and thinks that it can control the future but at the same time it deeply fears the past. The resulting society it creats is rigid, but with still a few rebels remaining. They work to overthrow the Computer, but in the mean time some unscrupulous Syndicate agents travel through time to threaten the entire culture. In the end these rebels manage to free the galaxies and just escape capture by this even more malevolent force. By the author of "Alien Skies," "Once in Time," and "Spykos 4." 191p.
